The kafuffle surrounding Manchester City at present has worried the Football Transfer Tavern boffins but the signing of Malaga midfielder Isco would certainly be a sign of intent if Metro have got this one right.
Roberto Mancini’s departure was seen as harsh by some but it appears the Italian’s successor will be Malaga boss Manuel Pellegirni and he wants to bring his best player with him to the Etihad Stadium this summer.
Isco has been the success story in La Liga this season as he helped the financially stricken Spanish side to an impressive league position and a Champions League quarter-final.
You can see why City want Chilean tactician Pellegrini to come to the club as he is successful in the Champions League having got the likes of Malaga, Villarreal and Real Madrid to the knockout stages.
Isco would cost £27 million due to a clause in his contract with Arsenal also interested.
Is Isco’s summer move to Manchester City a formality? Rate this rumour below.
