New Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola will try and force through deals for Everton defender John Stones and Celta Vigo forward Nolito, now that the duo have been knocked out of Euro 2016 with their respective sides.
Stones has been a long-term target for the Citizens and the move to Manchester could be too big of an attraction to turn down for the 22-year-old.
Spanish forward Nolito had a decent Euro 2016 and will move to Manchester City in a cut-price £13.8 million deal, after rejecting the chance to re-join Barcelona where he started his career.
The news of these deals has been spotting in the Manchester Evening News by our landlord and it has exited the Manchester City supporting punters in the bar.
One in particular is ordering his first pint after an hard day on the building site and he thinks both players can improve the current squad, stating that he is pleased with Guardiola’s initiative in the transfer market so far.
Manchester City fans, would you welcome these additions to the squad? Will he improve the squad? Who else should Guardiola secure deals for this summer?
