Manchester City chucked away the chance to win three points at Liverpool this weekend, as Riyad Mahrez missed a penalty at Anfield.

A 0-0 draw is not the end of the world though, and Pep Guardiola and his men will move on into the international window and hope to come back with renewed intent as they seek to retain their Premier League title.

With January fast approaching, Guardiola will no doubt be keeping a close eye on proceedings around the footballing world, as he looks to keep adding the best talent available.

One player at the Tavern have identified as a potential signing if Brazilian youngster Eder Militao, who has made his debut for Brazil only this season.

The £7.2m-rated Porto defender would appear to have all the potential in the world to go on and be a star, and at just 21 years of age, time is certainly on his side.

Despite only making his move to Europe in August of this year, Militao already looks to be the sort of player who can on to be a huge success in Europe, much like his Brazilian counterparts Thiago Silva and David Luiz.

City have a whole host of young talent available to them, but they will be keen to keep ahead of the game by adding the best young talent available, and Eder certainly fits into that mould.
