Manchester City

Manchester City should make a move for this £29.75m-rated midfielder this summer

Manchester City will once again be expected to make huge splashes in the transfer market this summer, with Pep Guardiola looking to make amendments to his squad and add the sort of quality he needs to challenge for the title.

The City fans here in the Transfer Tavern have become an expectant bunch nowadays when it comes to adding new players, and this summer looks to be no different, with plenty of players on the lips of the lads here at the bar.

One player our landlord thinks could do a job at City is Real Madrid midfielder Isco, who despite being a player of immense quality, seems to be in and out of the team at the Bernabeu.

Isco is an attacking midfielder who simply oozes class, and is similar to David Silva in his ability to unlock any defence, but comes with the tenacity needed to play in the Premier League and do a job in winning the ball back.

He’s not the sort of player who many clubs in Europe would be letting go,  but with Madrid looking to strengthen again and being linked with massive sums for big game players, Isco could well be one who is sacrificed.

Valued at £29.75m by Transfermarkt, he is not out of the price range of City by any means, and would certainly add something to a squad which is in need of refreshment in certain areas of the pitch.

City fans, what do you think? Would you take Isco? Let us know in the comments!
