Manchester City star set for Italian talks

tevez.jpgThe drama never stops here in the Football Transfer Tavern and it is no different with the claim emerging from the Daily Mail who think that Carlos Tevez could well be set for talks with Italian giants Juventus.

The Argentine forward has been looking for the exit door for some time now and despite a promising final part to the 2012/13 season, the fans and indeed the board have not forgotten the player’s behaviour when he took a sabbatical and worked on his handicap for six months.

Now it seems his stay at the Etihad Stadium may finally be coming to an end with the Italian giants set to arrive in Manchester for talks with the City board about bringing the talented forward to Turin.

Tevez of course would welcome such a move, especially given the news that he may not feature all that much in Manuel Pellegrini’s plans, and would happily spend a couple of seasons in Italy before one final move back to his homeland.

The issue for City of course is having already missed out on a host of top targets meaning that it could well be all hands on deck until another replacement is found – something Juventus officials will hope does not apply to Tevez.

Will Juventus get their hands on Carlos Tevez this summer? Let us know your thoughts below.
