Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure will reject a move to Inter Milan this summer, as he looks to continue his career in the Premier League, according to The Mirror.
The news has seen several Premier League supporters present here in the Transfer Tavern get all excited and begin drinking the landlord out of alcohol.
Toure will see his £220,000 per-week deal expire in the summer and with no fresh deal forthcoming, it looks seemingly likely that he will be on the market as a free agent.
The Ivorian has now made it clear that he will snub a move to play under former City boss Roberto Mancini in Italy, instead preferring a move to another top flight club in England.
A Liverpool fan has overheard the commotion in the Tavern that this news has fetched and he thinks Toure would be the ideal acquisition for Liverpool’s rebuilding process, although he does admit that Toure may need to lower his wage demands to secure a move to Anfield.
Manchester City fans, would you prefer to see Toure stay at City? Would he be a good signing for a Premier League club still?
