Manchester City, Tottenham and Chelsea fans have all put down their pints in the Football Transfer Tavern and given Hannah Duncan of Metro their full attention.
Malaga playmaker Isco is a target for all three clubs, and the Spaniard has put them all on red alert by admitting he may quit the club in the summer.
The 21-year-old playmaker has been a long-term target for all three clubs, but Manchester City are now the favourites for his signature, with outgoing Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini set to take over at the Etihad Stadium.
Isco himself has admitted he does not know where he will be plying his trade next season.
“We will do what is best for Malaga,” he said. “Nobody knows where my future lies.
“Right now I am just focusing on the two league games which remain [at home to Deportivo and away to Barcelona] and making sure I am at full strength for next month’s European Under-21 Championship.”
Malaga will no doubt demand a hefty fee for their star player, meaning Manchester City and Chelsea the most likely English clubs to compete for his signature.
French club Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest, as they bid to make big name signings capable of challenging newly promoted Monaco, backed by a billionaire owner.
