Manchester City target long-term Toure replacement

Paul Pogba Paul Pogba moving to Manchester City would certainly annoy Manchester United fans and the blue moon contingency in the Football Transfer Tavern see that as the perfect reason to move to the Etihad Stadium.

The Express claim the French International is on the Citizens’ radar this summer and that a £53 million offer could soon be made.

Pogba has been a sensation in Italy after leaving Manchester United on less than favourable terms and now the midfielder has the chance to return to haunt the Red Devils.

City scouts see the youngster as the perfect long-term replacement for Yaya Toure but the deal isn’t as simple as a straight forward cash deal.

It is rumoured that the deal has many different types of terms including player and cash deals that include either Edin Dzeko and Aleksandar Kolarov.

It is also believed that Manchester City have offered to cancel the amount of money that Juventus still owe the club for Carlos Tevez after the Argentineans move.

Pogba has reportedly asked Juventus to double his wages as he negotiates a new contract with the Serie A club meaning that not only Man City have been alerted.

But the Manchester club face a battle for the Italian with fellow European big-spenders Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain also said to be interested.

So Manchester City fans; is not the right time to be thinking about replacing Yaya Toure or has the Ivorian still got a fair few years left in him?
