Our Man City fans are gasping for another pint here in the Transfer Tavern after mouth watering news broke by Gazzetta Dello Sport today, that Manchester City are preparing to go back in for highly-rated midfielder Paul Pogba either in January or next summer.
Speculation over Pogba’s future was rife in the recently closed transfer window as his successfulness on the pitch last season in the heart of the Juventus midfield interested the European big dogs including Man City, Chelsea and Barcelona.
To the Juventus fans delight, they managed to keep hold of their prize asset after losing some of their most influential players such as Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo this summer, which has consequently led to a slump in performance at the start of this season as they are currently winless in their opening three Serie A games.
However, Man City have not been deterred and are reportedly said to be ready to offer £60 million and Yaya Toure for the Frenchman’s services – Madness!
Man City fans….. Is losing Yaya Toure worth the capture of Paul Pogba? Comment below and let us know!
