New Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wants to sign Celta Vigo and Spain winger Nolito this summer as he looks to bolster his attacking arsenal, according to The Sun.
The Spain international was a member of Barcelona’s reserve team during Guardiola’s first two years as boss at the Nou Camp and he now wants to be reacquainted with the player.
The 29-year-old has netted 39 goals in 100 games since signing for Celta Vigo in 2013 and his eye catching displays have caught the last 12 months.
The news has alerted Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern and some are relishing the prospect of Nolito joining the club this summer.
One in particular is flicking through the daily newspapers in the beer garden and he thinks that Nolito would be an improvement on Jesus Navas and hopes the club can secure a deal for him to move to City.
