Manchester City will have to pay £30m to land target

jovetic.jpgPunters at the Football Transfer Tavern are pleased to see Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic on his way to the Premier League but it seems Manchester City are having to pay over the odds to get their man, according to The Times.

The Viola frontman is in demand this summer but new City boss Manuel Pellegrini has been told that he has to pay the £30 million asking price to get his man this summer.

Arsenal have been keen on the Montenegro inteernational for 18 months but it seems the Citizens are now set to bring the striker to the Premier League.

Pellegrini has already sold Carlos Tevez to Juventus this summer and is considering letting Edin Dzeko leave if an offer comes in this summer.

The new City boss is keen on forming his own squad in Manchester and wants at least two strikers to come in this summer to bolster his side ahead of a title push this season.

Is Stevan Jovetic worth £30 million? Will City add him to their ranks this summer? Let us know your thoughts below.
