4-2-3-1: If Guardiola fields this Man City XI, then Newcastle’s crisis will continue

City fans here in the Tavern are excited for what the future holds for their side, having already broken the record for the most consecutive wins in a season.

Everyone thought that Pep Guardiola would be a flop after witnessing his first season in charge of the Manchester club. However, having seen what he’s managed to create in this campaign, these statements have soon been withdrawn, as they look to have already tied-up the Premier League title.

With strength in depth being a real advantage for the side, the busy festive period hasn’t had any effect on how they went about their ways, with a bench replacement being as good as the player they’re replacing.

However, their next match-up will see them travel to Tyneside as the league leaders face a Newcastle side that have seen their team take up a place in the relegation zone.

Nevertheless, Rafa Benitez will be looking to rally his troops to climb up the table, and to try to inflict a first defeat on the Citizens. But, if Pep Guardiola fields this Manchester City XI, then it will cause the Toon Army’s crisis to continue.
