Manchester City fans here in the Tavern are desperate for their side to improve in the coming weeks, after producing a couple of poor performances in crucial fixtures.
Indeed, the Citizens have looked less than convincing in recent times as they seem to have taken their foot off the gas, with defeat against Manchester United and an early exit from the Champions League. Although, many of our local residents remain hopeful as the title is within their reach, but European football is something that they’ll have to improve on next season.
Interestingly, it’s believed that manager Pep Guardiola will be signing a one-year contract extension with Manchester City, despite their recent failure in the quarter-finals of the Champions League. But, the club should already begin planning for the Spaniard’s departure in the distant future, with possible managerial candidates being lined up for the long-term at the Etihad.
