Manchester City have started off their season predictably well, and once again they look like they’re going to be the team to bring the Premier League title home.
Pep Guardiola is well into his reign at City and, despite a slight hiccup in his first year, he’s got the club playing football the way everyone else wishes they could. His record-breaking title win last season was something to be remembered for all fans, no matter their allegiances. Although City may not replicate their points tally to the tee, there’s absolutely no doubt in our mind that they’re going to come very, very close.
In the unlikely situation that Manchester City meet their match, their hiccup may come against the two teams…
Chelsea v Manchester City (08/12/2018)
Chelsea are firing on all cylinders against under their new boss Maurizio Sarri. They currently sit in 3rd place in the Premier League, and themselves look to be mounting a semi-dangerous challenge for the title.
There’s definitely a new quality about the side who recently demonstrated a key trait for all champions, against Manchester United, by scoring a last minute goal and scraping points after a relatively poor performance.
Hazard looks extremely dangerous at the moment, and is arguably playing the best football in the world.
Chelsea are one of the few teams who could stop City, so watch this space…

Manchester United are one of two teams to beat Manchester City last year. Famously stopping their rivals from securing the title on the day of the game. That performance seems like a long, long time ago now, however, and things may be very different.
Derby day hardly ever takes form into account so we reckon this could be one of a few title deciders.
