A few Man City fans have just come into the Football Transfer Tavern with some rather sad news for City fans, one of the stalwarts of their Premier League winning sides looks to be heading for the exit door.
Gazzetta World have reported that Roma and Man City are now in talks over the sale of Pablo Zabaleta, after the Italian side lodged a bid of €3m, with add-ons included.
However, the 31-year-old is also attracting interest from his former manager at Man City, Roberto Mancini, now in the top job at Inter Milan.
In his time at Man City, Zabaleta has accumulated a fair collection of winners medals, having won two Premier League titles, two League Cups and an FA Cup to boot.
The Argentine has been a key element in the success of City over the past few seasons and will leave the club held in high esteem with a large majority of the fan base.
City fans, how are you feeling about this one? Has Zabaleta still got something to offer your club going forward? Or is it the right time to move on? Let us know below!
