Guardiola looking to bring £40m Euro 2016 semi-finalist to Man City

Man City fans have been watching this summer’s Euros in the Football Transfer Tavern, keeping an eager eye out for players that they want their new boss, Pep Guardiola, to bring to the Ethiad for the coming season, and now it looks as if they may be getting one.

According to reports in the Manchester Evening News, German international, Leroy Sane, is destined for Manchester once Germany’s Euro 2016 campaign is over.

The 20-year-old, valued at £40m, would be the third addition, in what has already been a busy summer at the Etihad, with a new manager, kit and players, in Ilkay Gundogan and Nolito.

As reported by MEN, City’s Cheif Executive, Ferran Soriano, spoke to BBC World and said: “You need to change three, four or five players in a season. We have two new players, one gone and maybe we’re halfway.

“There will be some more. Two deals are close, the other deals are fairly advanced.”

So, it looks like Sky Blues fans in the bar here at the Football Transfer Tavern have a lot to get excited about in the build up to the new season, just 39 days to go now…

City fans, we want to hear from you! How excited would you be about the prospect of Sane? Let us know in the comments below…
