Our regular Man City supporting punters have been an excitable bunch over the course of this summer, with a world class manager at the helm and big names being linked they have a lot to look forward to.
This evening the bar staff have heard news that Man City are in advanced talks with Borussia Dortmund over a move for Pierre-Emerik Aubameyang, according to The Express.
The 27-year-old, who scored 39 goals in 49 appearances in all competitions last season, has reportedly decided he wants to leave Der BVB this summer.
The Gabon international, who is valued at £58m by the German outfit, would – if he made the move – become the club’s record signing.
Our Landlord pointed out that the striker will already be popular with Sky Blues fans as he put a penalty past Man United in a pre-season friendly last week.
Man City fans, we want to hear from you! What would you make of seeing Aubameyang at the Etihad? Could he be just as deadly in the Premier League as he is in Germany? Let us know in the comments below…
