As the world waits with baited breath in anticipation for Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City revolution, the City slickers in the Transfer Tavern simply cannot stop celebrating.
Having landed who many regard as the bet manager of all time, the Spaniard has been hard at work in building the outlook of his Etihad outfit already.
Now, according to the Sun, the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach could be handed yet another boost.
They claim that Sergio Aguero is ready to put pen to paper on a brand new deal in Manchester, giving the club a monumental pre-season boost.
Though his current deal does not expire until 2019, the Argentine forward is understood to have agreed a further 12 months, keeping him at the club until 2020.
At that stage, the former Atletico Madrid man will be 32 and has previously spoken of his desire to return to his homeland at that stage.
The 28-year old has notched 136 goals for the club since arriving in 2011 and is believed to want break their all-time scoring record of 177.
