City fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are slightly taken a back by news that has made its way into the bar here claiming that the club are not willing to stump up the huge fee demanded for one of their major summer targets.
According to reports on ESPN, Man City are refusing to meet Inter Milan’s asking price for their defensive stalwart, Leonardo Bonucci.

It appears that a defender is high on Guardiola’s wish list this summer as he carries out his overhaul of the squad ahead of the new season.
