Inter refuse to rule out bid as Mancini’s relationship with the erratic Italian falls under the microscope.
It’s been a quiet week for Manchester City’s Mario Balotelli, with only allegations of a dressing room bust up, an affair with a woman of the night and a car crash in Manchester city centre to occupy the mercurial strikers mind. But the Mirror via’s away from the usual circus of Primary school visits and early morning charitable handouts, to suggest the 21 year old Italian may be on his way back to Inter Milan this summer.
Manager Roberto Mancini has always stood by his attention seeking star, by insisting that the naivety of youth may desert the striker soon enough. But after some extremely bizarre moments recently even by his own astronomical standards, including a visit to the Serie A giants during the unveiling of their new manager, Mancini’s patience is thought to be wearing thin during a turbulent spell in which the title has been handed to their bitter rivals on a silver platter.
Revelations of a bust up with team mate Ya Ya Toure were quickly trumped by the news Balotelli enjoyed a meet and greet with Wayne Rooney’s friend Jenny Thompson, a prostitute who regularly snares high profile players for extortionate amounts of money, and former club Inter are thought to be preparing a bid to entice Mario once more under a new regime.
Inter’s technical director Marco Branca refused to rule out a move, stating:
“Balotelli? We are now thinking about Fredy Guarin’s press conference and the upcoming match against Cagliari.”
“We will talk about that in one or two months.”
Though he’d be missed by many if he were to leave these shores, a move may be best for City if they’re really serious about winning the trophies their outlay demands. Whilst we ponder the possibility of such a departure, here’s a link to Balotelli’s ten most bizzarre moments during his short but headline snatching career in football:
