Pep Guardiola’s arrival in England has excited the punters in the Transfer Tavern no end, with the iconic Spanish coach having already captured Ilkay Gundogan at Manchester City.
While the world waits with baited breath to see just how the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich manager fares in these isles, it appears the 45-year old is already hard at work to put himself in good stead.
According to the Daily Mail, Spanish forward Nolito has been pictured in a Manchester eatery as he prepares to finalise his switch to City from Celta Vigo.
The 29-year old was thoroughly impressive for Spain during Euro 2016 and has previously been linked with moves to both Arsenal and Barcelona.
However, Guardiola looks to have pipped the Gunners and his former charges to the wide forward by triggering his £13.8m release clause with Os Célticos.
Ironically enough, Nolito was handed his debut by Guardiola for the Blaugrana in 2010, before he moved to Benfica.
Will Nolito be a masterstroke signing for Guardiola at City?
