Liverpool steal march on Chelsea & Man United with 6 foot 5 star set for Anfield transfer

Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern today aren’t best pleased, amid news fan favourite Joe Hart is set to join Liverpool ahead of next season.

The 30-year-old became the biggest casualty of Pep Guardiola’s arrival at the Etihad Stadium last summer, dropped because the City gaffer doubted the glovesman’s ability to play out of the back.

Accordingly, Hart moved to Torino on loan to protect his status within the England fold, with the likes of Tom Heaton, Fraser Forster and Jack Butland starting to creep up behind him in Three Lions reckoning.

Torino wanted to keep him on loan for another season but according to The Sun, they’ve now been beaten to Hart’s services for 2017/18 by Liverpool, as the 6 foot 5 shot-stopper is set to move to Anfield in a £20million transfer deal.

It’s added that Chelsea and Manchester United are both interested in Hart, amid concerns Real Madrid could swoop for respective No.1s Thibaut Courtois and David De Gea, but the Reds have stolen a march on their Premier League rivals.

That’s lead to a huge collective sigh of relief from Liverpool patrons in the Tavern, who’ve grown tired of Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet’s error-prone displays between the sticks on Merseyside.
