Manchester City fans in the Transfer Tavern will be eagerly anticipating their Champions League tie with Liverpool on Wednesday evening and the locals will have been provided with an injury update that will only boost their confidence heading into the game.
The two Premier League heavyweights will meet at Anfield for the first-leg as they both look to progress to the semi-finals of Europe’s biggest tournament, and the Citizens will be able to recall one of their star men.
According to Ben Dinnery, who is a freelance injury data analyst, he states on his Twitter page that Sergio Aguero is expected to be named in the matchday squad.

The Argentina international has been on the sidelines for the past month after he injured his knee during a training session, however, Pep Guardiola’s side has rarely looked back since his absence.
The Sky Blues, who can lift the Premier League title at the weekend if they win, will no doubt be pleased to have Aguero back for the match, although it remains to be seen if whether he starts or features from the substitutes bench.
The Manchester City fans in the Tavern will be delighted by the news that Aguero is expected to be included in the matchday squad for the Champions League clash and they will be hoping his return can inspire their team to European success.
