Man City eyeing classy international midfielder in preparation for silverware challenge

Our Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern want Pep Guardiola to work his magic in this window and, according to The Sun, he might just do that with Grzegorz Krychowiak.

The Citizens are still in the Premier League title race as well as in contention for the Champions League and FA Cup this season and so any signings they could make in January would surely help their cause.

They’ve already got a decent squad, too, but things can always be improved and it appears Guardiola is thinking the same with a potential move for the Polish international.

Krychowiak was one of the better players at EURO 2016 and duly got himself a move to PSG on the back of that but things just haven’t worked out since.

He could, then, fancy a move to the Etihad with the Citizens looking for a suitable replacement for Ilkay Gundogan who is stricken by injury.

Our landlord thinks he’d be a top signing for City, too, given the talent he does have and showed when he was at his previous club Sevilla.

Would you take Krychowiak, City fans? Let us know below!
