Manchester City: Fans baulk at Napoli’s reported interest in Sergio Aguero

A number of Manchester City fans have been reacting to a transfer report linking Napoli with a possible move for Sergio Aguero.
According to Italian journalist Ciro Venerato (CalcioNapoli24 via Sport Witness), the Serie A club made a phone call to the Argentina striker and his agent about a potential four-year deal worth €10m (£8.95m) a season to move to Italy, with Napoli willing to offer €30m (£26.85) for the 31-year-old. The news was later relayed on Twitter by @City_Xtra.
Napoli have made a phone call to Sergio Aguero and his agent, with the Serie A club ready to offer a four-year deal worth €10m per season (gross).
The Naples club ‘would be willing’ to offer €30m to #ManCity.

Aguero has been at Manchester City for nine years, becoming the club’s all-time leading scorer in his time at the Etihad Stadium – a landmark he achieved, ironically, by scoring against Napoli in the Champions League two seasons ago (as per BBC).
His form this season has been as strong as ever, with 16 Premier League goals and 23 in total, as he netted in each of their first six league fixtures in the current campaign. [via TransferMarkt]
Is Sergio Aguero the greatest player in Man City's history?
Yes

No

These Manchester City fans on Twitter were stunned by Napoli’s offer for the Argentine and gave their two cents on the story:
Forget age or length left on contract. £30m is absolutely laughable. https://t.co/lFFSYe5TKu

I’ve just put a call in to Ferrari.
Told them I would be willing to offer them £100 and a couple packets of crisps for a LaFerrari. https://t.co/hzuSkNf174
