Plenty of Manchester City fans enjoyed "amazing" new footage that emerged from the day on which they won their first Premier League title back in 2012.

Eight years ago yesterday, Sergio Aguero's stoppage time winner capped a dramatic 3-2 win at home to QPR and ensured that Roberto Mancini's side would win their first league title in 44 years, pipping neighbours Manchester United to the glory. [via BBC]

It wasn't just the home fans at the Etihad Stadium who savoured that defining moment, though - @City_Chief on Twitter posted footage of travelling QPR supporters revelling in the goal for their own reasons.

The R's went into the final day of the 2011/12 season with their Premier League future on the line but, despite losing in the dying minutes, Bolton's failure to beat Stoke and the slightly earlier finish of that game meant that the Londoners were guaranteed safety by the time Aguero scored, enabling their fans to join City's ecstatic supporters in celebrating that 94th-minute goal.

These Man City fans on Twitter loved seeing their QPR counterparts so happy when Aguero delivered that history-making moment:
