Lots of Manchester City fans have welcomed the news that the club’s appeal against their two-year ban from UEFA competitions will be heard next month.
AP journalist Rob Harris broke the news via Twitter (@RobHarris) this afternoon, with the Premier League champions’ appeal to be heard at a sports court from Monday 8 June to Wednesday 10 June.

Back in February, Manchester City were banned from UEFA tournaments by European football’s governing body for the next two seasons after being found guilty of “serious breaches” of Financial Fair Play rules, as well as being fined £24.9m, as reported by Sky Sports.
The Etihad Stadium club swiftly submitted an appeal against the two-year suspension to the Court of Arbitration for Sport and released a statement strongly condemning the findings from UEFA’s club financial control body (as per The Guardian).
Are you confident that Man City's UEFA ban will be overturned?
Yes

No

If the appeal is declared successful before next season’s Champions League begins, Manchester City will likely be allowed into the competition should they qualify for it through their domestic placing.
These City fans on Twitter were buzzing after this afternoon’s announcement, with some declaring strong faith in chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak to inspire an overturning of UEFA’s decision:
