So much has been made about the goalkeeping situation at Manchester City this season, much to the annoyance of our local Sky Blues fans.
Joe Hart was infamously axed by Pep Guardiola upon his arrival at the Etihad and the form of replacement Claudio Bravo hasn’t been much to shout about at all.
So, the City supporters propping up the bar have been reading recent reports from the Sun with interested eyes.
They claim the Premier League giants are readying an approach for Benfica custodian Ederson Moraes.
It’s believed the Portuguese giants will be looking for a fee of around £20m for the 23-year-old Brazilian should City soon formalise their interest.
Sources close to the Lisbon giants are believed within the report to be relatively confident Guardiola will make a move for him.
Still, it’s said to more likely be a summer deal than one in the January market.
Those in the Tavern this evening believe any move for the stopper would call an end to Hart’s stay when he returns from his loan spell with Torino.
Is Bravo better than Hart? Let us know below…
