The Manchester City fans within the Transfer Tavern are acting like royalty and so they should be after witnessing an unbelievable campaign, which has resulted in the Premier League trophy returning to the Etihad.
There can be no arguments as to Man City winning the league because their breath-taking performances have been no match to any others in the league. Their title aspirations were never in doubt after spending around £250 million in the summer on new players, of which have been a massive reason as to why City have been so good.
Of course for a club like Manchester City, there is no end to the huge amounts of spending and our punters have been debating as to who next should arrive at the Etihad. A big swoop that keeps being spoken about is bringing Man United’s Marcus Rashford, who is valued at £45 million on Transfermarkt, to the club.
Albeit this transfer maybe a hard one to push through because United will not want to lose their brightest talent, especially to their direct rivals. Having said that though, Rashford is reportedly unhappy with his limited game time and City could punish United for that and steal him away.
Marcus Rashford has again proven why he is so highly rated this season because of his 12 goals and 9 assists so far. Manchester City have quality in every forward position but adding Rashford as well would finally make City European contenders as well surely.
With Sergio Aguero struggling more with injuries and plus talks of him moving away, Marcus Rashford would prove to be a top replacement given he still has years ahead of him.
To say the least it’s controversial but do City have the audacity?
