Our Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing who their side is going to sign in the summer window.
The men from the Etihad have had a superb window so far with Ederson and Bruno Silva arriving already and many are expecting Pep Guardiola to sign even more players before the end of the summer.
For sure, then, the links are going to continue and Marca – via The Manchester Evening News – is claiming that City are looking at Real Sociedad’s Inigo Martinez.
The Spanish defender is a senior international and would be a typical Pep defender if he did joined.
Indeed, he is not the most physical at the back but reads the game and likes to play the ball out – suggesting he’d be a good partner for the more imposing Vincent Kompany.
Time, then, will tell if this one happens with the likes of Barcelona and Inter Milan also getting linked with a potential move for the Basque-based man.
