Responding to a tweet by Manchester City fan-favourite and teenage ace Phil Foden, many Sky Blues supporters have been gushing over his message surrounding recent events – including an image of himself tussling for the ball with David Silva in training.
Foden, who has started three Premier League games this season (WhoScored), is impressing in other competitions – most recently winning the Man of the Match award during City’s Carabao Cup final victory over Aston Villa at Wembley.
The 19-year-old, who has fast become a fan favourite at Eastlands, delivered a message to supporters in response to the recent coronavirus epidemic – which has resulted in football’s postponement until April 3rd at the earliest. Foden stated: “Still working hard and giving our all. It’s a tough time for everyone at the moment but I hope you’re all safe and ok!”.
Nice hand off. Learn from the master Phil. Your time will soon be here

Even if I was a player I wouldn’t try and tackle silva. Wouldnt want to hurt him or annoy him or anything
