Following the passing of lifelong Manchester City president Bernard Halford back in March, with tributes pouring in from every part of the club and beyond, Halford's funeral was marked with a beautiful graveside gesture from the club - and supporters have flocked to praise the incredible move.

Halford, who served as club secretary for nearly 40 years from 1972/73, sadly passed away earlier this year due to health complications - with 'Mr Manchester City' going on to be remembered fondly by the community and the club as a whole.

A lifelong City supporter, Halford landed his dream role in the 1970s and worked tirelessly at taking the club he loves as far as possible - being a key instigator of Denis Law's shock cross town move from Man United and the Earth-shattering deal for Robinho in 2008 - practically announcing City's arrival on the world stage.

Given all of his achievements and his clear love for the Sky Blues, the club pulled out a phenomenal gesture at his funeral - bringing the domestic quadruple trophies plus the women's team honours and laying them next to his graveside.

As a result of the incredible tribute, fans have praised the club over their appreciation for a legendary figure - here's what they had to say.
