The January transfer window is looming, and with that comes plenty of rumours about who may be heading out and coming in during the first month of the new year, but one swap deal rumour doesn’t have many Manchester City fans excited.
Lautaro Martinez has been in high demand across Europe for his exploits in Serie A over the last two seasons, and despite displaying an average goal return of 11 strikes in 39 league appearances for Inter Milan, it’s clear the Argentine has a bright future ahead of him.
Who should be starting for Manchester City, Sergio Aguero or Gabriel Jesus?
In comparison, Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus has racked up superior numbers – with the Brazilian scoring 50 goals in all competitions for the Citizens already since arriving in January 2017, making an early impact for the club when he scored the winning goal against Swansea at the Etihad.
With both players being 22-years-old, their ceilings are incredibly high, but City supporters already know who they’d rather have.
Here’s what they had to say on Twitter…
So then we end up with 1 striker?
