Manchester City: Fans divided over Angelino performance against Liverpool

After Manchester City squandered a chance to close the gap on league leaders Liverpool, who now have a nine-point advantage over the champions, these supporters are particularly divided over one player’s performance.
Is Angelino good enough for Manchester City?
Yes

No

Angelino, who started in place of fellow full-backs Benjamin Mendy and Joao Cancelo, played the full 90 minutes in what was viewed as a surprising decision to include the youngster – especially when you have a £27.5 million pound summer signing on the bench who can play in that position in Joao Cancelo.
Regardless, the Spaniard had a very mixed afternoon, out of position for both of Liverpool’s early goals and had a difficult time marking Mohamed Salah and keeping him at bay.
That being said, Angelino had bursts of energy going forward, a composed touch and managed to assist Bernardo Silva for City’s consolation goal ten minutes from full time.
Following a gloomy afternoon for the blues, some supporters are currently divided over whether the 22-year-old was one of their brightest sparks or a complete liability.
Here is the debate on Twitter:
I really don’t understand how people thought Angelino played well? Out of position on the second goal, doesn’t stop the cross on the third.

He was easily our most dangerous player going forward in the second half. As for the first half… If he was playing ‘narrow’ in line with Pep’s instructions, he did reasonably well – the fault lay with a lack of support from midfield.

Angelino has had a shocker. Defensively terrible. Not much better going forward.
