After RB Leipzig knocked Tottenham Hotspur out of the Champions League on Tuesday evening, brushing the Premier League outfit aside with a comfortable 3-0 home win, many Manchester City supporters have flocked to hail Pep Guardiola’s ‘masterclass‘ of loaning Angelino to the German outfit.
Angelino, who re-signed for the Sky Blues last summer on a permanent deal after a successful season at PSV Eindhoven, is currently out on loan at the Bundesliga title-chasers – putting in a brilliant shift against Spurs in their second leg tie. According to SofaScore, the Spanish defender, while notching an assist, also completed 88% of his passes and won 2/3 ground duels – highlighting his contribution to a well deserved Leipzig victory. The 23-year-old, who played in a rotation role at City alongside the likes of Benjamin Mendy and Oleksandr Zinchenko before being loaned out, is now being lauded along with manager Guardiola.
These City supporters, drawing up the conspiracy, have hinted that it was all part of the former Bayern boss’ plan. They stated that ‘He’s done it again‘ whilst hailing his ‘masterclass‘. Find all of their best comments down below.

Pep signed Angelino for Man City so he could loan him out to Leipzig so he could help knockout Mourinho’s Spurs out of the Champions League.
