Manchester City: Fans gutted over possibility of never seeing David Silva play football in England again

Responding to a post from news account Man City Xtra, plenty of Sky Blues are gutted over the possibility that they may never witness legend David Silva play football in England again – taking to Twitter and voicing their concerns over the matter.
Due to the coronavirus outbreak and football’s suspension until April 3rd at the earliest, there has been much debate in regards to how this season will be completed or if it even will finish – with the severity of the illness’ contagiousness seemingly throwing the entire footballing calendar into doubt. Responding to the post, which outlined the possibility of never seeing Silva in a blue jersey again, many City fans have been panicking over the notion that their club legend could fail to go out with a bang due to the current pandemic. The Spaniard, who has been part of a successful era at the Etihad, announced he was leaving the club at the end of this season.
As a result, many City fans are disappointed, with one fan claiming that the news ‘makes me very sad‘ – here’s what they had to say on Twitter.
