Kevin De Bruyne was Manchester City's key asset during their famed Centurions season, making 36 appearances and grabbing a remarkable 16 assists and eight goals from midfield in the Premier League - but the season afterwards, where the Sky Blues managed to haul a domestic quadruple, he was largely missing due to injury.

However, after starting this campaign with the vigour and class City supporters have come to expect from the Belgian, supporters are back praising the 28-year-old for his key performances which have, arguably, kept Pep Guardiola's side competing in an uphill title race with Liverpool.

The Belgium international showcased a dazzling display in his last outing at Burnley, proving to be the main creative force alongside David Silva and Rodri, and that isn't the only time he's impressed this season.

De Bruyne is already on nine assists this campaign, over half way to bettering his record from 2017/2018, and supporters have recognised just how crucial he has been.

Here's what they had to say on Twitter.
