Manchester City: Fans have damning verdict following Champions League group stage win

Despite dropping points for the second game running in the Champions League, Manchester City qualified for the knockout rounds and finished top of their group on Tuesday night at home to Shakhtar Donetsk in a 1-1 draw.
The result has put them in cruise control heading into the last 16, being one of the seeded teams with their pick of second-placed group sides – which could prove to be a huge advantage in their bid to win a competition that has always eluded them.
Would Kingsley Coman be a good replacement for Leroy Sane?
Yes

No

However, despite seemingly making progress in the coveted club competition, some City supporters were still pessimistic for the future of their campaign following a damp performance where they should have realistically won in style judging by their previous encounter with Shakhtar.
Ilkay Gundogan gave the Sky Blues an advantage early in the second half after he bundled the ball home inside the area before Israeli international Manor Solomon finished off a fine move to level for the visitors.
As a result, some City supporters have been in negative voice – here’s what they had to say.
season might as well end now

That they are getting KO’ed out of R16 playing like that… Abysmal. And it wasnt the first time this season which is concerning…

A flat performance, lots of average performances, relying on KDB and Ferna to always be there. Rodri and Cancelo need to up their game, Angelino starts ahead of mendy every game, Foden needs to start next few games. Bernando needs to get his head right. CTID

Fitness is a massive problem at the club and someone needs to come out and explain why players are getting tired in seconds and injuries…
