Manchester City demolished Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates on Sunday in comfortable fashion, mainly down to the exploits of star man Kevin De Bruyne, with Sky Blues youngster Phil Foden taking the time to write up a hilarious analogy detailing the midfielder’s explosive performance.
The Belgian bagged his first brace in a Sky Blues shirt whilst also assisting Raheem Sterling, playing a heavy hand in all three goals during the brilliant win in North London, with City fan favourite Foden also starting his first Premier League game of the season.
De Bruyne gave Pep Guardiola’s side the lead with a superbly taken volley into the roof of the net, going on to flash the ball across Arsenal’s box for Sterling to tap home before sealing the deal with another sumptuous strike on the 40-minute mark.
As a result, Foden has drawn up a brilliant analogy on social media involving De Bruyne being the gravy on top of a perfect roast dinner – here’s how fans reacted to the tweet.
