Manchester City winger Leroy Sane has been the subject of renewed interest from Bayern Munich over the summer and it seems that the Bundesliga club’s interest is not going away.
Last month, Bayern saw a player-plus-cash offer for the 23-year-old rejected by the Premier League champions, as reported by Mundo Deportivo.
According to Christian Falk, Head of Football for German sport publication Bild, Bayern are still trying to sign the 23-year-old and will help him through his rehabilitation from the anterior cruciate ligament injury he sustained in this month’s Community Shield against Liverpool.
Falk added that Sane “should be” available for a lower price than that which Manchester City were originally demanding, as communicated by Manchester City-themed Twitter channel @SuperbiaProelia.
Bayern Munich are still trying to sign Leroy Sane and would accompany Sane through his rehabilitation.
Sane ‘should be’ cheaper now than the original asking price.

According to the Irish Mirror, Sane is set to be out injured for the next seven months and that could delay contract talks with his current club.
Earlier this month, France Football claimed that the Germany winger was on the verge of completing a €110m (£100.87m) deal with Bayern.
These Manchester City fans took to Twitter to chastise Bayern and demand an even higher asking price for Sane in the wake of the latest development in the saga:
No *cheaper* , at least €150m

Maybe they should try making an offer rather than just crying to the papers. If they hadn't killed German football, maybe they could have afforded him.

Vultures! I would raise the price!

Increase the price imo

Should increase the price now since they are so desperate, get it around 160 now

Why do Bayern seem to think City need to sell? We’re not a selling club these days we could sign their entire squad and have them in the reserves
