Manchester City have been severely depleted by injuries so far this season but there is finally some good news.
After suffering through an extensive injury list, hope has been renewed for City as Kevin De Bruyne and John Stones have made their return to training. Indeed, the two were photoed at the club’s training ground posted in a GIF on Twitter.
Meanwhile, back at base… ⚽️

De Bruyne, who was out for the majority of last season, had played a key role for the Citizens so far this campaign (registering eight assists already) before his most recent knock – whilst fans will also surely be delighted with John Stones returning to action, allowing for further defensive back up.
Pep Guardiola has had to improvise without the two over the last few games, a run of fixtures which included a devastating 2-0 home loss to Wolves.
Now, with the pair back in action, Guardiola can reignite his midfield with the addition of perhaps one of the best playmakers around, meanwhile Stones’ return to the fold could help defensively with Aymeric Laporte out of action.
Understandably, City fans are ecstatic to have them back:
