Manchester City: Fans salute Raheem Sterling after his latest England performance

Just 24 hours after Kevin De Bruyne scored one goal and set up three more for Belgium in their 4-0 win over Scotland, another Manchester City player followed suit for his national team.
Raheem Sterling was on target for England in their 5-3 win over Kosovo in Euro 2020 qualifying and also provided three assists, with his club’s official Twitter channel @ManCity acknowledging the feat.

The 24-year-old now has 10 goals and 17 assists in 53 caps for England, for whom he has been very prolific over the last year.
In eight games for England since last October’s 0-0 draw in Croatia, Sterling has scored eight goals for his country and provided five assists. [via TransferMarkt.co.uk]
He has also been in excellent form for Manchester City since the start of the 2019/20 season, with six goals to his name in five matches so far this campaign.
These Manchester City fans on Twitter hailed Sterling’s performance for England last night, with some drawing comparisons with De Bruyne from the day before:
