Manchester City: Fans slam Garth Crooks over Kevin De Bruyne verdict

Writing in his latest BBC Sport Team of the Week, pundit Garth Crooks has hinted at the possibility of Kevin De Bruyne leaving Eastlands if the club don’t treat him with ‘great care’ – resulting in Manchester City supporters flocking to social media and lambasting him for the verdict.
Could you see KDB leaving Manchester City?
Yes

No

Crooks, who famously issues his Team of the Week on a regular basis much to the entertainment of football fans everywhere, has included the Belgian star in his latest piece – commending his match-winning ability and citing him as ‘the best player in the country’.
However, Crooks also suggested that if City do not continue winning trophies then Real Madrid or Barcelona could potentially swoop in and land the playmaker – with Sky Blues supporters reacting in discontent to say the least.
The 28-year-old has notched seven goals and 12 assists so far this campaign, marking himself out as a real player of the season contender.
Here’s how Sky Blues supporters lambasted Crooks’ comments on Twitter.
What Crooks knows about football can be written on a stamp. He’s the most clueless ex pro ever. I often wonder how he’s even employed.
