Zabaleta came to Manchester City in August 2008 just before the club was bought by the Abu Dhabi United Group and he spent nine seasons at the Etihad Stadium, winning two Premier League titles, two League Cups, the FA Cup and Community Shield.

After making 333 appearances for Manchester City, the Argentina international moved to West Ham in May 2017 and he continues to line out for the Hammers under ex-City manager Manuel Pellegrini, having signed a contract extension at the end of last season.
