Our Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a huge number of changes this summer as the club looks to achieve domestic and European supremacy under Pep Guardiola.
Indeed, we already took in plenty of transfer dealings in Guardiola’s first window at the club last year as the likes of Ilkay Gundogan and John Stones arrived with Joe Hart and Samir Nasri – amongst others – going the other way.
And, now Pep has a better idea of what he needs, there’s bound to be more dealings when the market is opened in a few month’s time.
Certainly, then, players on the fringes at the club should be expecting to be moved on and it appears that Jesus Navas will be one of those.
The Spanish winger has struggled for playing time this season and has never really hit the heights expected of him back in La Liga.
Indeed, according to AS – via The Manchester Evening News – he wants out from the club anyway and our landlord thinks that the move will likely be granted with City possessing better players in his role.
