Manchester City weighing up move for PSG man

According to French media outlet L’Equipe, PSG starlet Moussa Diaby is being linked with a move to Manchester City and the Citizens fans in the Transfer Tavern are interested to see what he could bring to their club.

The striker has been one of the most spoken about youngsters in Ligue 1 and leads the line for the French capital side’s youth team, whilst he’s also played for the French under-18’s.

He is on a youth contract with the Parisians and that lasts until 2018 so if any side, including City, wanted to bring him in they could do so with relative ease and low cost.

He would be up against the likes of Kelechi Iheanacho as City’s next promising forward, but our resident fans of the club from the Etihad think the more the merrier in terms of exciting strikers.

One punter here in the Tavern said: “It’s good to see that our owners aren’t just looking to sign players for the now but have the future of the club in mind, too, and to be fair they’ve shown that innumerable times over the years.”

But some here in the Tavern would prefer to see some home-grown talent: “I just think that whilst this guy might be class there’s every chance he won’t be and I really would like to see some more local lads coming through.”
