Manchester City fans in the Tavern today have been complaining about the appointment of John Moss for the club’s visit to Stoke on Monday. The Citizens propping up our bar are still having nightmares over Jason Puncheon’s horror challenge on Kevin De Bruyne which only warranted Moss showing Puncheon a yellow card.
Manchester City’s visit to the Bet365 Stadium will be the third time John Moss has taken charge of the Sky Blues in the Premier League this season. City shouldn’t have too many complaints though as they sit streaks ahead of any potential competition in the Premier League, 16 points clear of their not-so-noisy neighbours, Manchester United, in second.
If City’s visit to Stoke goes as most fans are expecting it to, the club will only need a further three wins to secure the club’s third Premier League title in six years. However, that won’t provide Guardiola’s side with a reason to ease up, as the latter stages of this season’s Champions League approach Guardiola will need to ensure momentum in the league carries into European competition as they aim to win a historic treble.

Funny isn’t it. Doesn’t matter who the referee is, you just end up thinking “Oh balls!”

Good opportunity for him to apologise to Jesus for not allowing treatment and telling him to get up
