The Man City fans in the Transfer Tavern have been responding to a story in The Mirror that claims City are “growing confident” of landing Real Madrid and Spain midfielder, Isco, for £75 million in summer. The story claims that Isco has become disillusioned with life under Zinedine Zidane and wants to face a new challenge.
If Man City fans needed a reminder of how good Isco is, he scored a hat-trick in Tuesday’s huge friendly clash between Spain and Argentina as the 2010 World Cup champions ran riot winning 6-1. The 25-year-old almost signed for the Citizens back in 2013 after former Malaga manager Manuel Pellegrini left La Rosaleda stadium, the Argentinian gaffer tried to bring a then 20-year-old Isco with him to Manchester, however, the Spanish sensation opted to go to the Bernabeu instead.
The current Manchester City midfield under Pep Guardiola is nothing short of spectacular. Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling and Fernandinho are just some of the players at Guardiola’s disposal, add Isco to that list and it would be hard to find a way to outmatch the football produced by The Sky Blues. Isco has all the qualities needed in a creative midfielder, his passing range is incredible, he can use both feet and his goal and assist outputs make him a welcome addition to even the world’s best sides.

Let’s bring him to Etihad and Dybala too

This can go one of two ways:
1) City finally get Isco. Nice!
2) We're getting gassed about Isco joining City, summer 2019
Don't like the odds :/

City are already planning the future without David Silva. Isco could very well be signed with that intention.
