Manchester City are still hoping to be victorious and lift the Premier League title this season.
Despite not signing anyone to help with that ambition during the January transfer window, City’s squad is already packed out with a number of talented players good enough to be winners again.
Competition this season has been far greater than seasons prior and Man City just have to concentrate on themselves by winning all their remaining games if at all possible.
In the summer – whether they win the title or any silverware this season – they need to invest some more.
Weaknesses of their’s have been exploited far too many times this season and being the big-spenders they are, it’s up to them to put it right.
A left-back would be an ideal signing with Benjamin Mendy having been out for a large part of the season. Whether it’s back-up to the Frenchman or to jump straight into the team, Manchester City should look at AC Milan’s Ricardo Rodriguez.
Rodriguez, (who is valued at £15.3 million on Transfermarkt) is a defender who would give a much-needed extra boost of quality to Manchester City and their defensive unit.
The Swiss international is full of experience having been capped by his country Switzerland 61 times. The 26-year-old is a top professional and always does a job for AC Milan, as he has done as well this campaign.
He has already played 27 games this season and in that space of time, has provided three assists and helped keep seven clean-sheets.
Rodriguez is also able to play centre-back or further forward as a left-midfielder. Whatever the role though, Manchester City would get themselves a top professional that could make a big difference to their squad.
