The Manchester City contingent in the Transfer Tavern are ecstatic with life under Pep Guardiola so far this season…
Manchester City breezed into the international break with a near-perfect record this season as only Everton have been able to prevent City from recording victory so far this season. The Citizens’ Champions League credentials were further enhanced by a 2-4 victory away at high-flying Napoli in their final European fixture before the break.
Victory in Naples was a special evening for everybody involved with the club, but it was especially a night to savour for club talisman Sergio Aguero who scored a record-breaking 178th goal for the club to overtake Eric Brook as City’s all-time top-goalscorer.
But the City contingent propping up the bar were concerned last night after Aguero was taken ill at half-time during Argentina’s international friendly against Nigeria in Krasnodar.
And the club’s official Twitter page took the opportunity to update the supporters on Aguero’s situation.

Aguero will now be assessed prior to their Premier League fixture with Leicester this weekend, but the update seems to suggest his situation is not as drastic as first feared.
The City faithful will be sincerely hoping that Aguero makes a speedy recovery ahead of the weekend and continues to build on his new club record.
Here’s what the fans had to say in response to the update on Twitter…
